Delhi - Kullu - Manali - Jispa -Sarchu - Pang - Leh - Delhi

Day 1: Delhi
On arrival in Delhi , our representative will meet you at the airport and help you transfer to your hotel, where you can rest and stay overnight.

Day 2: Delhi/Kullu/Manali
Leave for the domestic airport to board the flight to Kullu. Our representative will meet you at Kullu airport and take you to the waiting vehicles for your drive to Manali. Have lunch on the way. Arrive in Manali and check into the hotel where you stay overnight.

Day 3: Manali
Enjoy a relaxed day at Manali or go sightseeing and visit the Doongari Devi temple, Vashisht Bath, and view points in Manali. Stay overnight at your hotel.

Day 4: Manali/Jispa
After breakfast we begin our motorbike safari to Jispa (3320 m). On the way we stop at Rohtang Pass (3978 m) on one of the highest motorable roads in the world. We also visit Dashohar Lake and Beas Kund and ride past the green meadow at Keylong (3348 m). Arrive at Jispa and stay overnight in tents.

Day 5: Jispa/Sarchu
After breakfast we leave for Sarchu on the border between Himachal Pradesh and Jammu & Kashmir. Here you can see the nomadic Gaddi people and an army outpost. On our way we stop at Baralacha la Pass (4891 m). At Baralacha la, which means " a pass with cross roads," the roads from Ladakh, Zanskar, Lahaul and Spiti intersect. Stay overnight at tents in Sarchu.

Day 6: Sarchu/Pang
After Breakfast we leave for Pang. On the way we halt for lunch at Lachung La (5079 m). We arrive at Pang in the evening and stay overnight in a tented camp at an altitude of 4630 m.

Day 7: Pang/ Leh
After breakfast we leave for Leh and ride though the vast Kyungshu Plains. You can see Kiang - the Wild Ass of Ladakh on these plains. On the way we halt at Tanglangla Pass (5500 m). This is one the highest passes to have a metalled road. Stay overnight at a hotel in Leh.

Day 8: Leh
After breakfast we leave for a tour of Shey, the summer palace of the royal family of Ladakh. We also tour Thiksey and Hemis monasteries, where you can see the Buddhist cultural heritage of Ladakh. Return to your hotel to stay overnight.

Day 9: Leh/Delhi
After breakfast you will transferred to the airport to board the flight to Delhi . Our representative will meet you in Delhi and help you to transfer to the international airport for your flight to your onward destination.

Pangong Lake Motorbike Tour
09 Nights / 10 Days

Pangong Tso (or Pangong lake; Tso: Ladakhi for lake) is a lake in the Himalayas situated at a height of about 4250 m (13,900 ft). It is 134 km (83.3 mi) long and extends from India to Tibet . Two thirds of the length of this lake falls in Tibet . It is 5 km wide at its broadest point. In winter, the lake surface freezes completely despite being salt water. The road to Pangong lake traverses the third-highest pass in the world, the Changla pass, where army sentries and a small teahouse greet visitors.
 
The lake is in the process of being identified under the Ramsar Convention as a wetland of international importance. This will be the first trans-boundary wetland in South Asia under the convention.

Day 1: Leh - Durbuk (110 km)
Visit enroute Chemra and Taktak Gompas. Overnight stay in camp at Durbuk.

Day 2: Durbuk - Lukung 100km
Bypass village Tangtse, drive upto Lukung. Overnight stay in camp.

Day 3: Lukung - Pangong Lake ...60km
Ride via Spangmik village at the bank of Pangong lake. This lake is the highest in Ladakh and is famous for colourful stones and wild flowers (in summer months).
Overnight stay in camp.

Day 4: At Pangong Lake
Explore the area, ride and trek along the lake. It is a once-in-a-life time experience.

Day 5: Pangong Lake - Tangtse ...90km
Ride back upto Tangtse by crossing over a pass. There are beautiful sites for photography. Overnight stay in camp.

Day 6: Tangtse - Changla
Enroute visit Durbuk Gompa. Overnight stay in camp.

Day 7: Changla - Hemis - Leh
Visit Hemis Gompa. It is the richest gompa of this region. Overnight stay in a Hotel at Leh.

Srinagar to Leh Motorbike Tour

12 Nights / 13 Days
Delhi - Srinagar - Kargil - Leh - Sarchu - Manali - Delhi

 

Day 1: Delhi to Srinagar (by air)
Reception upon arrival and transfer to Deluxe Houseboat. Afternoon shikara ride on the Dal lake. Dinner and overnight stay in Deluxe Houseboat

Day 2: Srinagar
Morning test ride your motorbikes and ride them through the valley. Visit the Mughal Gardens and Nishat Bagh. Enjoy your ride and get familiar with the motorbikes. Evening free for relaxation. Dinner and overnight stay in Deluxe Houseboat.

Day 3: Srinagar to Kargil via Drass
Morning ride to Kargil, enroute stops include Sonamarg and Baltal hamlets, famous for rugged snow peaked meadows. Past Baltal cross over Zoji-La Pass (11,500 ft). Reach the Drass valley with strikingly different landscape dotted with remote mud huts giving an impression that you really have travelled back in time. After a passport check we continue on to Kargil. Overnight in a local hotel.

Day 4: Kargil to Leh
Morning visit to local Immambarah and Turkish inspired architectural structures from the Silk route days, when this used too be a major stop for Central Asian trade route. Enroute to Leh stops include Mulbekh Monastery, perched on a mountain over the village of the same name, known for the huge image of Buddha carved from a giant rock. After Mulbekh, continue on to Alchi and Likir Monasteries. These monasteries house Buddha and renowned 1000-year-old religious wall paintings. This evening arrive in Leh and check into hotel.

Day 5: Leh
Full day sightseeing tour of the monasteries - Hemis, Shey and Thikse. The Hemis Gompa is the most powerful of the monasteries in the vicinity of Leh and belongs to the Kaguyupa Buddhist sect. Shey and Thikse occupy hill top sides and offer remarkable views across the Indus Valley . Overnight at Leh

Day 6: Local sight seeing
Morning sightseeing of the Leh Palace , Shanti Stupa and Sankar Gompa. Afternoon drive to Stok across the river Indus to see the Stok Palace . Evening free to explore the bazaars. Overnight Leh

Day 7: Leh - Spituk - Alchi - Likir- Uleytokpo
After breakfast at the hotel we'll set out for Spituk and arrive after a ride of 8kms. From there we move further upto Alchi, 64 kms from Leh. Here you'll visit the 11th century Alchi Gompa- the only Gompa in Ladakh region on flat ground. Thereafter, we cover Likir to visit the splendid three storey Dhamma Wheel Gompa, which houses a massive Buddha statue. Then we'll proceed to the Uleytokpo camping ground for overnight camping.

Day 8: Lamayuru
Today, we'll ride to Lamayuru. Here we'll visit the small Wanlah Gompa located in the south of this place. The night is spent in an overnight camp in Lamayuru.

Day 9: Back to Leh
After breakfast we start our backward trip to Leh. Riding in these high altitude regions is quite adventurous, with the winding and serpentine roads flanked by mountains on one side and deep gorges on the other. Upon arrival, you check in at your hotel and spend the night there.

DAY 10: Leh to Sarchu
Today ride to Sarchu - the traditional village on the way to Manali. Overnight at Sarchu Deluxe Camp.

DAY 11: Sarchu to Manali
Ride through beautiful landscapes through Rohtang pass and Marhi. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 12: Manali Sightseeing
Visit to the hot sulphur spring water, Hidimba temple, Tibetan monastery, overnight at the hotel.

Day 13: Manali to Delhi
After early breakfast, you will be transferred to the airport in Kullu for your flight to Delhi . Our representative will meet you in Delhi and help you to transfer to the international airport for your flight to your onward destination.

Tsomoriri Lake Motorbike Tour

The Motorbike Safari to the Tsomoriri Lake is one of the most interesting of all the safaris in Ladakh. The 5-day safari goes along rivers, small streams, remote villages, blue lakes and high passes. Tsomoriri Lake is one of the highest fresh water lakes in the world.

Day 01: Delhi - Leh
Early morning transfer to domestic airport to board flight for Leh (3505 mt). Met upon arrival at the airport and transfer to hotel. Day rest for acclimatization. Overnight stay at hotel.

Day 02: Leh
Morning proceed for Indus Valley monastery tour. Visit to Shey Palace -The ancient capital of Ladakh. The monastery has a huge copper-gilted image of Sakyamuni and the large silver lamp burning in front of the statue. Visit to Thiksey Gompa which is actually a complex of buildings on a crag rising in tier upon tier above the village. The monastery was dedicated by His Holiness Dalai Lama in 1980 and houses an immense image of Maitreya Buddha. Ride further to visit the famous Hemis Gompa, founded in 1630's by Stag-tsang-ras-pa under the royal patronage of Sengge Namgyall, Hemis is the is one of the largest and richest gompas of Ladakh. Visit Stok Palace and Museum - the Royal residence of the King of Stok, the museum has a rich collection of Ancient Ladakhi artifects which includes old Thankas, precious stones, arms and armoury, the Queens necklace and the crown of the King of Ladakh among others. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 03: Leh
Morning proceed to visit Sankar Gompa, Shanti stupa and Leh Palace . Afternoon free to explore the market. Overnight stay at hotel.

Day 04: Leh/Chumathang
Morning ride to reach Chumathang (3965 M) by covering 140 kms. This place is known for its famous medicated hot water springs where people from various parts of Ladakh come for releiving their pains. Enroute ride past beautiful villages of Nurnis, Kery and Kadgam. The motorbike ride through this part of the Indus valley is quite flat without much uphill or downhill drive. Arrive and overnight stay in tents.

Day 05: Chumathang /Sumdo
Morning ride to Sumdo, a wide open village . Enroute stop at Mahe Bridge from where the road crosses to the south bank of the river by a bridge; it then follows the unmetalled road through Puga stream up to join Sumdo village. The ride from Mahe to Sumdo follows a narrow mountain gorge through green bushes. Upon arrival in Sumdo check in at the camp and later visit the monastery of Sumdo which is famous for its well preserved paintings. Overnight stay in tented camp.

Day 06: Sumdo/Korzok
Morning ride to Korzok (4,572 mt) the only village near Tsomoriri Lake . The safari from Sumdo to Tsomoriri is one of the most interesting as it goes through sandy deserts & rocky paths. After slowly zigzaging up to the Namshang-La, the drive follows a smooth descent and ride past the isolated Thasang Tso - a small torquoise lake which appears like an emarald of a queen's necklace. Little before Tsomoriri Lake ride past a small green valley of wild Marmots locally known as Phya. Arrive at Korzok village and check in at the camps. Afternoon explore Korzok: Situated at 15,000 ft (4,572 mt), its the only permanent settlement in Rupshu region with an approximate population of 500 people. The few barley-fields at Korzok must be among the highest cultivation in the world. Visit Korzok Monastery with its dimly lit prayer halls. Overnight stay in tents.

Day 07: Korzok
Day free to explore the Lake area and the village. Tsomoriri Lake: The clear blue lake is one of the most breathtaking fresh water lakes in Ladakh. The lake is considered sacred by the locals. The Lake is surrounded by beautiful peaks like Mt. Mentok and Mt Kharlung on the right side and Mt Kurchu and Mt Lungser on the left side. The Lake is a breeding ground for numerous species of birds like Bar Headed Goose which is found in abundent, Great Crested Grebe, the Brahmini duck etc Overnight stay at the camps.

Day 08: Korzok/Tsokar
Morning ride to reach Tsokar via Puga by covering 75 kms in 3-4 hours. Tsokar lake 4485 mt is also called as white lake because of salt deposit around it. It is approx 45 kms northwest of the Tsomoriri lake. Tsokar lake is so salty that salt extracted from its margins are still sold all over Ladakh. Overnight stay in tents.

Day 09: Tsokar/Leh
Morning ride to Leh via Thukje Gompa. Join Manali-Leh highway and ride down to Leh via Tanglang-la (5224 mt.) the 2nd highest motorable road in Ladakh. Enroute ride pass beautiful villages of Rumtse, Gia, Meeru. Arrive Leh and check into hotel for overnight stay.

Day 10: Leh
Day free at leisure for independent activities. Evening proceed to see Folk dances of Ladakh which shall be arranged on the spot. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 11: Leh - Delhi
Morning transfer to airport to board flight for Delhi
